Matt Miller joins PONY's International Board of Directors!

Matt Miller has been around PONY for over a decade. From being a coach to now a member on the International Board of Directors, Miller has and still does wear many hats. Therefore, when an open seat became available for a member from the PONY North Zone to serve on PONY’s International Board of Directors, Miller was the perfect guy to do it!

“I’ve been around PONY since my boy played in 8u,” Miller said. “Becoming a member was a great honor to me. I’ve been around so many years and this is the next step for me.”

Miller participated in his first International Board of Directors Meeting this past month. He called the experience an eye opener. Matt served on the Board’s Finance Committee. 

Matt and his wife Kenna have been heavily involved. Kenna and her family have been in charge of their organization for over 40 years. She grew up at the ballpark Miller claimed. 

“She helped me out a lot,” Miller said. “If it wasn’t for her all this couldn’t have happened to me. I am very grateful of all the doors that have opened for me because of her.”

Looking ahead to 2020 and beyond Miller is hoping to bring PONY to the next level. He is wanting to continue growing PONY in the North Zone. 

“I love everything about PONY Baseball, and I want to do everything I can to build my area up,” Miller said. “I will work hard and represent PONY well.”
