2021 Palomino International World Series Champions

For the first time ever, we have Co-Champs of the 2021 Palomino World Series. Due to bad weather and teams leaving early the next morning, the Championship game that was scheduled for Monday night was cancelled.

Co-Champ: Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico went 3-0 in the tournament. Their strongest appearance was against Apple Valey on Friday winning 10-0.

Abdier Aiyala led the team with a batting average of .750. He had eight at bats with six hits, two being doubles. Leading the team in RBI’s was Dicky Gonzalez and Eric Bello Torres; they each had four.

Jorge Rivera led the team with the most innings pitched. He had an ERA of .000.

Congratulations Puerto Rico!

Co-Champ: Youngstown, OH

Youngstown, OH went 3-0 in the tournament. Their strongest appearance was against Aroma Park on Friday winning 24-4.

Joseph Roth went 5 for 5 in the tournament. He had five singles and three RBIs. Tyler Kamerer went 12 for 14. He had two doubles, one triple, and five RBIs. Leading the team in RBIs was Tim Quinn. He contributed 7 of the 30 that Youngstown had.

Gage Gilliot and Ethan Edkins led the team with a 2.333 ERA. Gilliot pitched six innings, giving up seven hits and two runs while striking out five. Edkins pitched three innings, giving up one hit and one run while striking out four.
