FIRST TEAM EVER TO MAKE THE PONY LEAGUE WORLD SERIES FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE



The East Zone representative in the 2021 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series is Manchester, NH. For the first time in the 69-year history of the PONY World Series this is the first team to represent New Hampshire.

Kim Lambert, the President of the GMCL, stated, “Our team is very excited to make history for our State. The Coaches and team have been extremely committed to practicing as frequently as possible (almost daily) and their dedication to the team shows every time they step onto the field.”

The team consists of their leagues nominated all stars from the 2021 Spring Season.

These young talented men first traveled to Newark, NJ for the East Super Regional Tournament. The team swept their way onto the East Zone Super Regional Tournament in High Point, NC. In High Point, NC, Manchester came in hot. They went 4-0 in the tournament advancing onto the PONY League World Series in Washington, PA.

“These kids are doing an amazing job on and off the field representing the League, City of Manchester, the state of New Hampshire and East Region of the United States in PONY Baseball,” stated Lambert.

Manchester will play its first game in 2021 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series against Johnstown, PA, at 8:00 pm EST on Friday August 13 at Lew Hays PONY Field.
