To Assist Youth Baseball & Softball Coaches and Parents

WASHINGTON, PA (February 21, 2022) — As spring baseball and softball get underway and families everywhere return to America’s pastime, PONY Baseball and Softball and MOJO today announced a multi-year, strategic partnership to support PONY’s 90,000 youth coaches and 500,000 baseball and softball families worldwide with the award-winning MOJO app.

Featuring high-quality video content, MOJO will empower PONY coaches to plan fun, effective practices in seconds, with activities that are customizable for the age, skill level, and preferences of each PONY team and player. As Major League Baseball’s Trusted Grassroots Coaching App, MOJO’s baseball and softball offering was built in close consultation with Major League Baseball, and includes hundreds of practice activities, practice plans, how-to videos, instructional articles, and other educational content. All of the content on the MOJO app is created in consultation with top child development and youth sports experts.

“Coaching education is a key component to a successful baseball and softball experience,” stated Abraham Key, President and CEO of PONY Baseball and Softball. “MOJO has assembled the tools for all coaches and parents, regardless of experience, to create a better opportunity for our PONY participants.”

“We are so excited to begin working with PONY’s member leagues and their volunteer coaches around the world,” said Tom Arnett, Chief Customer Officer of MOJO. “PONY is such an institution in youth baseball and softball, and our goal is to make sure that every one of their players experiences the magic of the game. That starts with equipping all of their volunteer coaches with world-class coaching tools.”

PONY leagues, coaches, and families can take advantage of this new partnership starting today, just in time for the first pitch of the spring 2022 season.
