Day 4 of the 2025 Palomino World Series

Championship Game: New Taipei City, Taiwan (2) vs Azusa, CA (1)
Both teams were strong on the mound on Monday, but New Taipei City, Taiwan defeated Azusa, CA 2-1. YU-YAN LUO started the game for New Taipei City, Taiwan and recorded 15 outs.

New Taipei City, Taiwan didn't take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at one in the top of the fifth when SHENG-EN ZENG singled, scoring one run.

Azusa, CA were the first to get on the board in the first when PAXTON CZUBEK grounded out, scoring one run.

New Taipei City, Taiwan jumped back into the lead in the top of the fifth inning after CHEN-JIE CHEN laid down a sacrifice bunt, and SHENG-EN ZENG singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

YU-YAN LUO began the game for New Taipei City, Taiwan. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and one run over five innings, striking out one and walking one. JOSEPH LAYVA led things off on the mound for Azusa, CA. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking seven. SHENG-JIE TSAI pitched two innings of zero-run ball for New Taipei City, Taiwan in relief. The pitcher allowed two hits, striking out two and walking none.

CHEN-JIE CHEN and SHENG-EN ZENG were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for New Taipei City, Taiwan. SHENG-EN ZENG led New Taipei City, Taiwan with two hits in four at bats. TING-HSUAN KU led New Taipei City, Taiwan with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. New Taipei City, Taiwan didn't commit a single error in the field. CHEN-JIE CHEN had the most chances in the field with eight.

ZECHARIAH ESCALERA and JAMES ROCHA III each collected two hits for Azusa, CA. Azusa, CA didn't commit a single error in the field. GABRIEL GUERRERO had the most chances in the field with nine.

New Taipei City, Taiwan ended the series undefeated with a 4-0 record and took home the title of 2025 Palomino World Series Champion.

Azusa, CA was eliminated from the tournament with a record of 4-1, taking home the runner-up title.
