• THE ONE-FOOT IN THE BATTER'S BOX RULE SHALL BE ENFORCED AS STATED IN THE OFFICIA RULES OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL(RULE5.04(B)(4). for clarification, the Minor Leaague penalty will apply. (The umpire shall award a strike without the pitcher having to deliver the pitch).

• The board voted to not use the pitch timing rule for PONY

• The board voted to not limit the disengagement from the rubber.

• Add rule 18 G. Players who violate the  rules and are ejected from the game shall remain in the dugout under the supervision of the Manager, coach or Business Manager. If unsportsmanlike behavior continues, the player shall be escorted away from the dugout with either the Manager, coach or Business Manager until the game is completed. Additional penalties may occur if the violation is severe in nature.

PONY has a amazing program for some of our youth that may not always get the opportunity to play in team sports. After some discussion, we are encouraging our PONY affiliated leagues to initiate this program in their parks.  For those who are not aware of this great chance to help some kids, click on the link below for further information.
