Rules: We use the Major League rule book unless superseded by the Pony rule book. For tournament play we use the tournament rules located on pages 30 - 38 in the Pony rule book.
Selection of Players: Tournament teams may be selected by any manner desired by the league from among legal players who have participated in at least 1/2 of their teams games during league competition. Leagues can only select players from their league, no exceptions. Once the tournament affidavit book has been signed, no other additions or subtractions can be made to the affidavit. That means teams cannot add players if they advance past region. See page 32, section A, subsection 3 for more information.
Number of Players: Tournament Teams shall consist of a min of 12 plyers and a max of 15 players. See page 31, A for more information
Number of Coaches: One manager, one coach, and one business manager (one extra coach is permitted in 4u Foul, 6u Shetland, and 8u Pinto league when a coach-pitch is being used), all of whom shall be dressed in full baseball uniform with official tournament team emblem sewn or ironed on the right sleeve or right part of vest (chest area) of the uniform, shall be on the field or bench. See page 31-32, section E for more information.
Tournament Emblem: Tournament team players shall be required to wear an official tournament team emblem (patch), sewn or ironed on, the right sleeve or the right vest area (chest area) of the uniform, when participating in tournament play at all levels. Same team members must wear the patches in the same location. These emblems are available from Pony HQ. See page 32 section T3, subsection b for more information.
Number of Teams that a League May Enter: Each league may enter as many teams as desired in tournament play conducted by PONY, but must indicate the number of teams it will enter on the Membership application.
Deadline to Register: All leagues desiring to enter tournament competition must send to the Zone Director, not later than June 1, a completed tournament application form and a check for the tournament entry fee for each tournament team.
All Star Registration Fee: $225 per team (this covers your entry to Section, Region, and beyond
*Directors Tournament is a separate tournament and registration fee is not included in the $225.

Tournament Affidavit Book: Books must be signed off by prior to the start of the Section tournament. All teams must have a minimum of 12 players on the roster and a max of 15 players. See page 31, section A for more information
Tournament Book Layout: All items need to be in a plastic page protector in a three ring binder in correct layout
Layout as follows:
Front Cover: Team name and age group
1st page: Team Photo
2nd page: A copy of the league's insurance
3rd page: Affidavit w/ medical release (medical release is part of the affidavit) (Names on affidavit MUST MATCH the birth certificate EXCATLY)
*A Board Member of your league must sign off on your affidavit BEFORE you bring it for Pony to sign off on.
4th - remaining pages: A readable copy of the players birth certificate and a color picture of the players in the same order as the affidavit.
*Only 1 player per page.

Page 6 - Third player on the affidavit w/ color picture
*Note you can use the front and back of one sheet protector if you choose

*After your affidavit book has been signed off on by a Pony Official, Pony will keep the affidavit, and return the book to the team. It is the teams responsibility to make the book immediately available in the event a Pony Official needs to inspect it.
Replacement of Players: Any replacement of player on a tournament team for reason of illness, or injury to the player only, shall be supported by written certification from an attending physician as to the conditions necessitating the replacement. Replacement players shall be selected from among other legal and eligible in the organization league in which the team played during the regular season.
